A go-through screwdriver features a single-piece metal shaft that extends all the way through the handle to the end cap. This design allows you to strike the end with a hammer to break loose stubborn, rusted, or corroded screws, which is very common in plumbing installations and repairs.
The blades are crafted from premium materials including Chromium-Vanadium (Cr-V) steel (available in hexagonal or round designs), S2 alloy steel, or high-carbon steel. These materials are hardened above 50 HRC to ensure high durability, wear resistance, and long-term usability under heavy torque.
Depending on your preference, you can choose between magnetic or non-magnetic tips. The magnetic tip option is highly recommended for securely holding screws in place, preventing them from falling into deep or hard-to-reach plumbing spaces.
The dual-material handle combines polypropylene (PP) for strong structural support with thermoplastic rubber (TPR) for a soft, ergonomic grip. This design provides maximum comfort, slip resistance even when hands are wet or oily, and helps transfer maximum torque efficiently.
