Horizontal Sand Mills or Bead Mills are widely used in coatings, dyes, inks, photosensitive materials, medicine and other industries.
The material (fluid) to be ground is pumped into the static grinding chamber with a jacket through a pneumatic diaphragm pump. A special separation device separates the dispersed matter from the grinding medium and discharges it, so as to achieve the goal of accelerating the process of grinding fine particles and dispersing aggregates. The ground and dispersed material is separated from the grinding medium through a dynamic separator and flows out of the discharge pipe. The barrel part of the horizontal sand mill is equipped with a cooling or heating device. This machine uses zirconia beads as the grinding medium. The zirconia beads are easy to clean, have the highest hardness, are more wear-resistant, and have a good grinding effect. When the feed particle size is less than 450 microns, the discharge particle size can reach less than 1 micron, but the inner barrel of the sand mill is relatively worn. This machine can realize mass continuous production, which greatly improves the quality and greatly reduces the cost.
