⚙️ Working Principle:

The material (fluid) to be ground is pumped into the static grinding chamber with a jacket through a pneumatic diaphragm pump. A special separation device separates the dispersed matter from the grinding medium and discharges it, so as to achieve the goal of accelerating the process of grinding fine particles and dispersing aggregates. The ground and dispersed material is separated from the grinding medium through a dynamic separator and flows out of the discharge pipe. The barrel part of the horizontal sand mill is equipped with a cooling or heating device. This machine uses zirconia beads as the grinding medium. The zirconia beads are easy to clean, have the highest hardness, are more wear-resistant, and have a good grinding effect. When the feed particle size is less than 450 microns, the discharge particle size can reach less than 1 micron, but the inner barrel of the sand mill is relatively worn. This machine can realize mass continuous production, which greatly improves the quality and greatly reduces the cost.

Characteristics

A mechanical shaft seal (imported double end mechanical seal) is installed between the transmission structure and the grinding structure of the horizontal grinding mill, and solvent based liquid is used to circulate and lubricate the mechanical shaft seal to separate the grinding material from the transmission structure. The solvent for circulating and lubricating the mechanical shaft seal is stored in a storage tank, and cooling water is transported to circulate and cool the lubricating solvent.
The grinding operation of the horizontal sand mill is conducted in a fully closed and pressurized grinding cylinder at high speed, so there is no problem of solvent volatilization polluting the air, ensuring workshop hygiene and the physical and mental health of the operators. The production of materials in a closed state saves energy and reduces production costs because there is no solvent volatilization.
The bottom of the grinding cylinder of this equipment is equipped with a sliding track to facilitate the replacement of grinding beads and disassembly during maintenance and repair. As long as the fixing screws are removed, the grinding cylinder can be opened to allow the grinding beads to flow out.
There are two types of pumps for conveying raw materials in horizontal grinding mills: gear pumps and pneumatic double diaphragm pumps. Users can choose between them based on the physical properties and characteristics of the raw materials they want to grind.
The design of the machine is advanced, and the closed wet grinding method makes the grinding speed of the medium faster and more uniform. The product has uniform grinding and dispersion fineness, good quality and high production efficiency.
In addition, there is no need for a special installation foundation for the horizontal sand mill, and the installation position can be changed at any time as needed.
